Our Ethiopia YirgZ Coffee is meticulously processed from heirloom varietals grown by small farmers in the Yirgacheffe region. This fully-washed coffee undergoes a rigorous "Zero Defect" triple-sorting process to ensure near-perfection. The Zero Defect sorting process takes three times longer than other coffees from the region, resulting in a more refined and clear cup with intensified black tea aroma, peach sweetness, and grapefruit acidity. Workers are well compensated for their hand-sorting efforts. The Yirgacheffe region is renowned for producing coffees with a distinct floral and aromatic flavor.
